Royal Security Firm was founded by Dr. Jerry Blunt and his wife Jacqueline. Together they envisioned a security firm built on Professionalism, Excellence, Service, and Justice. With over 20 years of teaching and serving in a criminal justice capacity, their experience has taught them that the mere presence of a professional uniform officer; can assist in combating a disturbance. Dr. Jerry Blunt has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in political science from Sam Houston State University. He double minored in both History and Criminal Justice. He also has a master’s degrees in Public Administration, along with a Doctor of Philosophy in Administration of Justice from Texas Southern University. Dr. Jerry Blunt has taught at both the high school and collegiate level. In addition to educational institutions, Dr. Jerry Blunt and his wife Jacqueline have been employed with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in a variety of aspects, including upper administration and supervision. Together they founded Royal Security Firm, to provide protection and security for residential and commercial facilities; in the Houston metropolitan and surrounding areas.
